I wanted my moccamaster to look a little cooler with some black and wood. The wood I used is offcuts like these:

You will need to cut them to lengths: 13 x 185mm and 3 x 130mm 
I used epoxy to glues them on. The disassembly was a bit tedious but far from hard.
