This handle is designed for use with 20-millimeter-wide double-sided metal saw blades. In fact, when cutting in hard-to-reach areas, using such tools is often more convenient and efficient than using traditional steel saws.

 

Today, I happened to encounter just such a scenario: I urgently needed a handle like this to handle an urgent cutting task. I scoured all the major hardware stores, but I couldn't find a satisfactory option. Interestingly, although there are indeed several handles available on the market, they always left me feeling unsatisfied. So, I decided to try making one myself - after all, making such a handle is no easy task, and even just revisiting those skills I don't often use can often yield unexpected benefits.

 

The handle of the final product not only provides a comfortable and ergonomic grip, but I also had a bright idea to install a clamp with a fastening screw at the top of the saw blade to firmly fix the saw teeth. In the case of the saw blade jamming due to insufficient precision, the stability of this clamp is far superior to traditional fixing methods. I chose square M3 nuts for the clamp, and the assembly only requires simply screwing in the screw to complete the installation, which is extremely simple. It's worth mentioning that the handle itself consists of two halves. All
