To support mounted access to the micro:bit the plate can be mounted as needed using velcro to flat surfaces. It also supports camera mounts using the additional camera mount connector (using a tree nut insert) designed by Makers Making Change. The connector requires the insertion of M3 bolts within the holder and fastened with a nut on the back. The mount can then be screwed onto standard camera mounts.
The micro:bit slides into the bottom clasps and the two two side clasps are inserted.
* This is a first draft and I would love anyone with better design skills to improve on this design and share on. I'm attaching the Fusion file if you are so inclined.
Update: Thanks to PrintLab's easy to learn tutorials, I made a version using dovetails to attach the top clips. They are in the Dovetail folder.
Attribution to Makers Making Change for their original design of the Spruce Joystick for the base and Oak Joystick for the camera mount.
