This is an insert that for a normal prescription pill container that lets you carry two different types of pills in one container.

Is it food safe? The official answer is "it depends". PLA is "generally recognized as safe" for contact with food, but there could be other contaminants. Personally, I can't see how any contaminents from my set up could possibly result in enough exposure to worry about, but I can't speak for any other setup.

It may require a light sanding to get a good fit. I also recommend drilling a very small hole in the bottom (I used a 1/16" bit) to allow air to vent--otherwise it's basically a piston.
