This is a simple tool designed to “run” nuts up/down a length of ready rod (threaded rod). 

Just attach it to the chuck off your drill and off you go. 

Works the best with a couple of elastic bands wrapped around it so it can use the friction to ‘catch’ the nut and turn it.  

Holding the drill at a bit of an angle also helps drive the nut better.
