This is a tiny minimal shelf that attaches to the wall with a single nail driven downward at an angle.  It's built to hold up paintings on thin canvas.  Can handle 11x14 canvas' just fine, can likely go a little bigger but would probably need slight modification to handle anything larger than that.  The shelf size is roughly 1.75" x .875".
