Introduction
This printable is my toolhead that I designed and built for my HyperCube printer. It's compatible with the standard mount footprint (X = 17mm, Y=19mm) for the hypercube.
I built this in such a way that hopefully it will be compatible between both my current printer and my future second printer (a 'roided up beefcake of a HyperCube).
Note this design uses the 2x fixings on the back of the toolhead for attachment and will not work for the front 4x fixings as they have different dimensions (X = 17, Y = 26.3 for the back and X = 16.5, Y = 23 for the front)
Note I have not included the entirety of my CPAP blower implementation as it is still a work in progress (I am seeking to do a much much better mounting solution for the CPAP blower)
Technical data
Toolhead Blower Mount
- Width: 40mm
- Height: 9mm (but mount system is designed for 10mm size)
- Duct ID: 18mm x 8mm (standard), 18mm x 7mm (actual for bs_pcfd-i2p1-v3.stl)
- Fastener horizontal center to center: 30mm, vertical offset == centered in part
- Fasteners:
- 2x M4x10 panhead (type doesn't really matter)
- 2x CNC Kitchen short M4 heat sets
Toolhead Part Cooling Duct
- Width: 36mm
- Height: 9mm
- Duct ID: 18mm x 7mm
- Fastener horizontal center to center: 28mm, vert offset == centered in part
- Fasteners:
- 2x M3x10 panhead (type doesn't matter)
- 2x CNC Kitchen short M3 heat sets
BoM - Jellybeans
- 2x - CNC Kitchen Short M4 heatsets
- 6x - CNC Kitchen Short M3 Heatsets
- 4x - M3 locknuts (flat to flat dimension == 5.5mm)
- 10x M3 washers (in my implementation I only needed 4x)
- 2x - M4x10
- 4x - M3x5 (head diameter no larger than 5.9mm)
- 2x - M3x15 (threadlength of 14ish mm, head diameter no larger than 5.9mm)
- 2x - M3x10 threaded metal studs/standoffs
- 2x - M3x5 capscrews (these should be included in the kit you get when you buy a EBB36)
- 1x length of 18mm CPAP machine tubing
- 1x appropriate wiring loom for your EBB36/USB to CAN/whatever thingo (my case I am using a U2C and EBB36, be warned the pinouts between the U2C and EBB36 are flipped!!!)
- 1x EBB36 toolboard
- 1x U2C USB to CAN bus adaptor
- Klipper based 3D printer (YMMV if you don't use klipper)
- Bunch of tiny zipties for cable management
- BLTouch or equivalent probe (I currently have a clone probe because the genuine ones where going to take too long)

- 1x - bs_backplate-i2p1-v1.stl - no supports, >50% infill recommended but not required), recommend PETG

Acronym glossary:
- bs = backside - I have no idea why I set that prefix in the end
- iX = iteration #
- vX = version #
- pcfd = part cooling (main) fan duct
