This was used to create an enclosure for my 3d printer, using

• Cable trunking
• Some plastic/cloth/acrylic
• IKEA Bror
• M5 screws + nuts
• The prints in this page

Hopefully the mechanism is evident in the picture.
Otherwise, the whole assembly is in the .f3z.

I'm assuming you won't have the same stuff lying around as me.
But you can remix it to fit what you have on hand to create a cheap enclosure.

The sliding mechanism needs tight tolerances to  be smooth.
So you might want to try a few test prints to tweak the dimensions first.
