- PRINT INSTRUCTIONS
To print the keys, use color1 (RED) up to Z = 5 mm and switch to color2 (GREEN).
Use color2 (GREEN) up to Z = 6 mm and switch to color3 (BLACK).
I used 0.4mm nozzle for the keys. Use a thinner one, if possible.
- ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
-
- HARDWARE
You need
1) Arduino UNO
IMPORTANT!! It does not work with Arduino clones, which use the CH340 chip.
2) Keypad 4x4 Matrix Thin
3) Angled male pinhead (8 pins)
Use the photos as guide.
Use eight pins from a male angled pin header for the connection, as shown (remove the pins from the plastic holder).
Connect to pins 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 on the Arduino board
Secure the keypad using the grips, or remove them and use some glue.
-
- SOFTWARE
First you need to upload the Arduino code (attached file).
If you want to change the button functions, use the codes found here:
https://gist.github.com/MightyPork/6da26e382a7ad91b5496ee55fdc73db2
Then you need to reprogram the Atmega8U2 chip on the Arduino UNO board.
