This is a simple diamond-shaped pendant intended as a demo piece to show costume designers what can be done with Silk Gold PLA for 3D printing stage jewelry.

The surface texturing from the infill grid would be reduced by thickening the sidewalls.

I drew a rough sketch on a whiteboard, then wrote an OpenSCAD program to layout the diamond.

One side of the diamond is created as an equilateral triangular beam, rotated and translated into place, then chopped to the first octant. Then the other sides are created by mirroring about the coordinate planes.

A hanging hole for a chain or cord is made with a rounded triangular shape (intersection of three cylinders), so that there would be a pointed arch at the top of the hole when printing, reducing possible problems with the flat top of a round or square hole.

I had no problems printing the piece with the hole, and it seems to be placed well enough for the pendant to hang vertically.
