I had been looking at the designs for soldering iron presses for fitting heat inserts straight for a while now. However as I didn't have the linear rais and other items needed I never got round to building one. Then I saw this really cheap drill press on Temu.
This is just a simple mount that holds the Pinecil V2 in place of the drill.
I printed it with 3 walls and 30% infill, yes that was probably overkill but it only took about 40 minutes to print on my Creality K1.
You will need 1 m3 x 3 thread insert (a slightly longer one may still work) and a short M3 bolt. I used an M3 x 8 and it fitted easily
The bolt is just to make sure the Pinecil doesn't pop out whilst fitting a heat insert.
