Two variations of a BLTouch mount. The front mount allows for reaching most of the bed with the probe, but puts the sensor further out on the Y axis, so if you have any X axis twist, you'll need to enable X axis twist compensation in your firmware. I had great results on the left side of the bed, but the right ¼ of the bed was showing lower. I believe this was the result of the drag chain moving the print head slightly. X-axis twist compensation fully corrected this, but was a bit disappointing. Offset is -25 X, -30 Y. Z varies depending on whether you have the official or a clone of the BLTouch.
So I did a second version with the mount under the motor, in line with the nozzle, so that twist isn't an issue in readings. The problem is that the left 1/3rd of the bed can't be reached by the probe, so readings there are not as accurate. It does fit in very nicely and out of the way though. Offset for the side mount is +55mm on the X. Z varies depending on whether you have the official or a clone of the BLTouch.
Physical installation is extremely easy - just remove the lower back screw from the BMG extruder and pull the old shroud out and slide the new one in. The BLTouch mounts on top of the arms, with M3x3 or M3x10 screws and nuts to hold it in position.
Support should only be used on the arms for the BLTouch, and recommend using four walls and 70% infill. Due to the proximity of the Mosquito hot end, PLA will not work at all. I've tested in PETG and ABS.
