This is a re-mix of a side spool holder I found on Printables that I liked. The issue was I had new AMS (v2) and the original design was for the v1. So I redesigned it to fit my AMS and tried it out with TPU. It worked very well.. then I decided to make some modifications. I moved the feeder arm back a bit to allow for the spools to go on without hitting it. This also helps with feeding of the filament. I also changed the solid plate to more like a frame. This cut down on the amount of print time and filament I used. I love the design that Andrew came up with the roller and the ball bearings that makes things so smooth.
To assemble the roller you need two ball bearings (I ordered 608-2RS from Amazon)
Here is entire list of parts you will need.
(2) M3x16 Cap head screw
(9) M3x20 Cap head screw
(2) M3 heat-set insert (4mm-5mm long)
(9) M3 hexagonal nuts
(2) 608 bearing
(1) PC4-M10 push-fit
(1) PTFE tube (approx. 200mm cut to fit your system configuration)
I printed this with standard PLA and it works just fine.
