The model allows for the insects/arachnids/… to stand onto little pads and to drink the water that flows through the channels around them. The water comes from a bottle reservoir that automatically replenished the channels, just fill the bottle and screw it upside down before flipping it 180° where you want the station to be. The pressure may vary depending on how much you screw the bottle, the size of the bottle, the levelness of everything, … so you might need to fiddle to make everything work.

The fusion file is provided would you want to adjust the parameters, see how it's done or simply edit the model easily.

Printing Information:

• Since this model will be exposed to the elements and will contain water you should use a non porous, uv resistant filaments like PETG or ASA. I recommend PETG as it is safer (similar to PET bottles plastic).
• To avoid poisoning the insects, you should also thoroughly clean the model to remove any contaminants leftover from the 3dprinting process. You also can use a food-safe resin to coat the model for optimal protection.
