This replacement nose piece and control panel for the Jet JDP-17MF drill press allow mounting of a direction switch, speed control and tachometer for VFD conversion.

I have provided STL and STEP files for the replacement front housing as well as the control panel and an insert for the drum switch. The control panel and drum switch are multi-material parts with the text embedded in the panel with a different color of filament. If you don't have a multi-material printer, you can print the parts with the text recesses empty and then paint them in as desired.

I used PETG for the body because it is so large and it is difficult to print flat. I used ABS for the inset text, because it's easier to control oozing, but PETG would also work fine.
