Cookie cutters come in various shapes, and can often be hard to press down into the dough evenly. Or if the cutter is an outline without a stamp, when you press it down with the palm of your hand, it presses back into the palm of your hand (Newton’s third law of motion).

Cookie cutter press to the rescue. Just place the cookie cutter on top the dough, place the cookie cutter press on the top of that and press it down with your hand. The pressure will be spread out evenly. The cookie will be perfectly cut, while your hand will remain just as perfectly uncut.
