This bracket setup mounts plastic cereal boxes on a Multiboard for use as filament dry boxes from which you can print directly. Each cereal box needs a support on either side, but the supports are two-sided so you can place a series of boxes in a row.
There are three parts:
- The support attaches to the Multiboard and holds the weight of the filament box.
- The cross-piece links two supports horizontally so they can't flex enough to allow the box to fall.
- The stopper closes the front of each support so the box can't slide off the front with it in place.
Each support is secured to the Multiboard with four Multipoint connectors. These come in several variations for different kinds of mounting. I am using small-thread Multipoints, but any standard Multipoint should work.
Because the support piece is longer than my print bed, I have to rotate it for printing. If you do the same, remember to change your slicer's infill angle so you don't end up with really long parallel extrusions on the top and bottom. I'm not sure it makes much difference for strength, but it doesn't look nice.

- PETG
- Parts oriented as in the STL files
- No supports
- 0.2mm layer height
- 3 perimeters
- 3 solid layers top and bottom
- 15% gyroid infill
- Change infill angle of diagonal parts so infill isn't parallel to the perimeters
