This is ugly and awkward, but it works.  However, I would recommend just buying the recommended microswitches if you can.  Use this as a last resort.

No modification needed to the endstop clamps to work with this.   However as you can see from the photo, the leads for the endstops will stick out awkwardly.  I bump them occasionally, so make sure you have a strong cable connection on them.
