This is a mount for an atomising disc that you can buy together with a humidifier module on Aliexpress

I created this model based on my DIY humidifier

Printing

This model can be printed with no supports, and does not need any screws.

One possible flaw that might emerge is the failure to print the inner thread. If you encounter this problem, you can add supports here, but my Bambu Lab A1 Mini printed it well, so I think there's no danger.

Designing your humidifier

The model itself is not a functional humidifier, it's only a mount for the atomising disc. You can use it in your design, so feel free to edit the Fusion file. 

When designing, please keep in mind that the model is created to be placed under the tank of water. The reason I made this model is that I didn't want to use the cotton wick included in the package. 

How to use it

The first step when assembling the model is to place the atomising disc (don't forget to keep the transparent rubber sealing included in the package on the disc) into the hole. Make sure the wires are pointing up. Then, put the flat round part with a hole in the centre onto the disc. This is here to prevent rotating the disc and hence pulling the wires off when twisted with the threaded part. Now you can finally insert the threaded part and tighten properly.

The most frequent problems

If you plug your atomiser in and nothing happens, it might be caused by water not having contact with the atomising disc. This could happen for multiple reasons:

1. The atomising disc is not under the tank of water
2. The tank of water on the atomiser does not have any holes to allow air to escape
3. If there's a thin tunnel which leads to the atomiser, water will block one side of the tunnel, and close the air inside, which makes it impossible for air to escape. Therefore, the water will not flow to the atomising disc. To solve this problem, just untighten the thread a bit, which allows the air to escape from the humidifier, and then tighten it properly again.
