My 36" Blackstone grill is placed in such a manner that hanging the lid off the back of the grill is not feasible.  I designed a quick set of brackets that can be screwed to my deck railing, providing me a place to hang the lid when Im grilling.  Space them apart as needed, based on the size of your grill and the placement of the hangers.

Print 2.  The larger chamfer side points up, this is to make it easier to drop the hooks in place.

I attached using 1 ¼" (31mm) drywall screws.
