Summary
I've got a large gum tree overhanging the front of my house and it drops so much leaf debris that the valleys back up with leaves almost to the ridge line (if I'm lazy enough) and so in the past I've used various techniques including getting up on the roof to clear it all out. But since I have a pool, I also have a pool pole and they are fantastic as they telescope up beyond most things you'll ever find in a hardware store and they come with a nifty means of attaching anything that has a couple of holes in it.
So this is my first 3D project. And on its first test (with the prototype) with worked really well apart from the initial v-angle probably being a little wide. So I reduced the angle a bit, adding in some strengthening where it would most likely have stresses (not that I think it needed it in the end). This version was a dream to use and I'm looking forward to cleaning the gutters again. I think the next tool will be a gutter rake with a wiper blade edge to get those gutters squeaky clean.

I picked 50% just to err on the strong side. 20% would probably do it fine. The first prototype, I stuffed up, and had the tube with a wall thickness of only 1mm and it was still strong enough to do the job easily. This is much thicker now and the tube diameter could have come in another mm or so, but it will easily hold on to a pool pole.
I used a brim on this, but only because I'm still new and using an Ender 5 Pro. I noticed that it had a bit of distortion on the brim towards the end of the print like it was trying to pull near the top. PLA+ says a bed heat of 40C is fine...but I've found that I need to run my bed at 65C or it tends to break free.
How I Designed This
Everything for a pool pole starts with the tube. At first I went with 36mm as my vernier calipers are still in the post, so I eyeballed it on a ruler that was really hard to read. The next version I reduced that to 35mm and it could probably go 33.5mm if you wanted snug but 35 is perfectly fine for this job. Then I needed a shaped plane (like a hoe), so once again eyeballing it and using a piece of A4 paper and folding it to match the V of the valley and then measuring the angle - again it was close but needed final tweaking to this version. My roof is a standard Australian 22.5 degree pitch roof and this tool works perfectly in the standard valleys for this angle. Obviously a steeper pitch would need a tighter angle.
