This base supports mounting up to six 1/8" BSPT flexible coolant pipes as helping hands. The space in the middle may be used for weights if more stability is needed or the base slides around too much.

The regular model requires a threading tap to cut threads into the holes, while the NT base has larger holes intended for gluing pipes into.
