A quick to print tool for calibrating x and y offset on idex printers. Included are a fine, extra fine, and coarse model in both 3mf and stl (for slicers that don't support 3mf).
Print the “base” with the primary extruder and the “tool” with the second extruder. Examine the points of the printed model and find the one that has the points closest together. Adjust your offset by the amount indicated. Repeat until the point at the “0” value line up. *Depending on how your printers calculates offset, you may need to invert the values.
When using the 3mf file, the parts are separate and ready to print. For stl, set the tool change @ 0.8mm.
For X calibration, make sure the model points are pointing up.
For Y calibration, make sure the model points are pointing left.
For best results, use contrasting colors and a small nozzle.
