In 2019, at the Google Stadia launch event, limited-edition transparent Stadia controllers were given as gifts to the team, along with a bespoke stand. This year I was lucky enough to collect a complete example of this, and on a whim decided to measure and reproduce it - so now you too can have an “official” display stand for your Stadia gamepad(s)!
This was modelled in about an hour using calipers and Rhino 3D. Dimensions are basically correct to within half a millimetre or so, except for the spots underneath for rubber feet - these I enlarged very slightly to 13.5mm in diameter to fit basically any 13mm or 1/2" feet. I printed mine on a Bambu X1 with a support-interface raft, and support enabled up to a 25º overhang to get a smoother finish on the underside (it has a 10mm radius fillet, which can be tough to print on its own).
Example printed in marble PLA, and lightly post-processed with a file to smooth some rough edges and bumps.
Let me know if you'd like any slight modifications for features/to make this easier to print!
