This is a double spool holder for the Printrbot Simple Metal. Ever had problems switching spools on a traditional spool holder? Hate having to juggle spools mid-way through a print? These problems and more are solved by this Double Spool Holder!

It can be used with the Printer Simple Metal 3D printer with the metal handle -or- without the metal handle (see images.)

For Simple Metal with metal handle, print:

1x handle_mount
2x holder_arm

Slide the handle_mount over the handle and place the two arms in the square holes as shown in the picture. Place spools on the arms.

For Simple Metal without metal handle, print:

1x prong_mount
2x holder_arm

Slide the prong_mount onto the two vertical rails and place the two arms in the square holes as shown in the picture. Place spools on the arms.

NOTE: The mount should fit tightly on either the handle or the prongs. If the mount does not fit tightly, you will need to alter you settings or modify the file. This print was designed for a Printrbot with speeds around 80 mm/sec. Plastic printed parts may fail over time. Use at you own risk.
