This was actually printed in an X1 Carbon.

To complete this build, you will most importantly need a Teensy 2.0++,. PMW3360 optical sensor, (3) 3mm bearings, (2) M2.5 hex nuts, (2) M2.5 6mm screws (might need 8mm), & 34mm Trackball

Currently I've built out support for VIA and VIAL. Unfortunately, since this is my own code, it will not interact with the Azeron software.

Did a lot of cleaning up this 3D print and recognize this as my final revision on this design. You can thumb press 3.5mm bearings into the groves and the sit at the proper distance to support the 34mm trackball. Smooth operation!

Recommend using rawaccel or some other application to build a profile that makes the trackball more accurate to you. On average you will likely want to adjust 8-12 setting on the rotation. This is triggered by the angle of the thumb in relation to your hand. I've had no success coding this directly into my source code. If someone has experience with this, please reach out. I could use your help!

This works best if the Azeron is tipped on an incline from the Azeron stand. Doing so will also help relieve stress on your wrist and hand.

Lots and lots of testing... I've went through over 4 rolls of PLA working on this project. Originally my work was triggered by what MK (Melaphor) had created. Did my best to take it one step further.

Hoping I can get this mod out to more users. Unfortunately, since this uses a Teensy 2.0++ dev board, you will need to probably go to aliexpress to get one. I am trying to find time to move this project either a blackpill or rp2040 depending on how quickly Azeron works to design the trackball.
