Overall:
This is a case for a PICO with a Display Pack 2 mounted to it. I created the case so that I could utilize the 2" screen in a classroom environment, limiting breakage. This seems to be working well.
There are now two versions of the case:
- A version held together with screws.
- A version with built in clips to hold it all together.
I built this case to be able to house a Pimoroni Pico LiPo, as I wanted more memory for a project.
Note:
The screw together version has two bottoms, one for a standard PICO, and one for a Pimoroni LiPo.

I have modified the clip together style model so that you can perform a 2 color first layer print if you wish. The DisplayPack2 - 2 Color.3mf file is all set for a Prusa MK4. The printer will automatically request a filament color change at the beginning of the print. This is for the letters. The second color change will be for the main body.
Two Color First Layer Basics:
If you can't use DisplayPack2 - 2 Color.3mf for some reason, the following may help you do the same in another slicer.
- In your slicer, import Clip-Body.stl. Edit the .stl file, and select a "load' operation to add in the individual letter STL files. This places them in the proper location relative to where ever the Clip-Body.stl file is located.
- Create two extruders. Assign the first one to the Letters. Assign the second one to the body.
- Modify the tool change G-Code (see your printer settings, under custom G-code) copy the contents of the “Color Change G-Code” settings and put that in “Tool Change G-code”
- Slice and export the gcode.
Print Suggestions:
I printed in PLA, with a 0.4mm nozzle, 0.2mm layers. If you are printing with the two color letters, I find the best results are with a high contrast between the colors.
