I made this to repair my USB devices when the cable is cut or broken so that I don't have to get a new male USB and solder the cables to it. With this you can remove the old molding carefully with a cutter or similar tool and solder the wires to the pins directly, then encase it with this print.
I glued mine with cyanoacrylate, just putting glue in the plastic and not directly to the metal parts and it held perfectly.

I've attached the file in case you want to modify it in any way. The connecting pins have a 0.1mm tolerance so no sanding is required and the fit is good
