Printing Recommendations
- Layer height: 0.1-0.2mm
- Nozzle size: 0.4mm
- Material: PETG
- Supports: None
Assembly
- Use a <6mm hex key press 2 stacked 6mm magnets from the top of Shaft.stl. The last ~7mm should be a tight press fit with positive stop. Use a small dab of superglue, if needed.
- Press the bearing into the top of Shaft.stl. The bearing should sit at the same height as the plastic print. If it doesn't (ie. you use a textured bed), use a knife to trim the plastic flush with the top of the bearing. Use a small dab of superglue, if needed.
- Press one of TopX.Xmm.stl into the bearing. Should be a tight press fit with positive stop. Use a small dab of superglue, if needed.
BOM:
- 1x 625 bearing
- 6mm magnet(s) (I use 2x 6x3mm)
- 1x Shaft.stl
- 1x Top-X.Xmm.stl (try 5.2 first for a tight fit)
