I recently did a beekeeping course and the organisers described some standards of hive however they all seem to suffer when they are vertical stacked.

After some discussion i came up with this idea for a side loaded stack, i added T piece slides for the frames and also included a cut out for a Queen excluder to slide into.

While the design isn't “Tried and Tested” it should be very easy to use, the only aditional not in the design is to clasps on the sides of the removable door to keep it secure.

If anyone has any further ideas to improve this idea please let me know.
