A cheap & dirty derivative of Finger Wheel that puts the 5/16" hex nut recess in the face of the wheel and uses the collar as a coupler to a 1/4" stepper shaft.

If you don't happen to have a dual shaft stepper and still want manual control on a constrained (Z) axis, this shaft coupler adds a fingerwheel between the stepper and 5/16" rod.

Mount the motor using 2" hex bolts, the fingerwheel is narrower than the mounting holes for a NEMA23.
