Update: added a version that does not require a nut and bolt. To connect the arms spread them 180 degrees apart so the keyed shaft and hole are aligned and the press together. This version is a lot lighter now to at 15g.
This is an adjustable mount that allows you to hang your smartphone from a 2mm paracord line inside of a tent or hammock setup for media viewing.
It has 10 adjustable positions and can be used as a tripod.
This is my first revision so I will likely make some adjustments after some use and feedback.
For printing I used ABS and supports are only needed on the left part, though I did use supports on the right side also to support the nut insert area. I have included a screenshot of the orientation i used and the parts came out very
For the support line I would recommend a 1-2mm paracord and I decided to make use of the following knots and a single small carabiner for easy setup.
The bolted version uses a single M5 x 30mm Torx Low Profile cap head screws and M5 Nylock Nut were used to attach the 2 parts together.

On the carabiner end I used a Farrimond Friction Hitch (without the quick release) to make the line adjustable.

And on the other end I used an Alpine Butterfly Loop and an Ashley Stopper Knot to make a simple attachment point.

I was Inspired by the caveman tv mount from adotec gear but wanted to design it in my own way that was simpler and easier to print.
Update 16/03/2025: I have added files for a Medium and Small version. Large works with devices such as Samasung Galaxy Ultra for reffrence. unsure what will fit in the others but will add info once people have tried them.
