I changed eye mimic (R2) to have bigger aperture. Original design seems to be slightly too small and VL53L0X didn't work stable (occasionally shows very small distance).
2019-03-26:
This is remix of Great Project WALL-E Robot by ChaosCoreTech! The modifications were provided to incorporate some electronics into the WALL-E head: camera module, laser range finder and 3x microphones. Further the neck is adapted to SG90 servo.

I provided several png files which explain most of changes, hence there is not too much to say. About modules which I integrated are following:
[1] camera module in left eye is mounted using a cam_adapter part glued to the eye chamber by a crazy glue.

[2] laser range finder Pololu VL53L0X in right eye. You may use VL53_adapter part to attach insde the eye chamber. You can glue the adapter to the eye body by crazy glue, put VL53 and fix it by a hot glue. In front of the eye equipped with VL53 you may install an eye_mimic part to make the eye looking like the other one equipped with the camera module (objective mimic);

[3] 3x microphones modules MAX9812: one in the nose and two other on the back of the head.
Harness. It is quite challenging, but possible to provide all harness within the neck. I used thin wires from VGA D-SUB cable for camera connections and MICs supply. MIC signal is provided in shielded cable.
The neck attachment to the Wall-E body is kept original so no modification to the body is required.
The eyes module has been divided into two parts just to save the filament. If you glue precisely, the junction is almost not visible as it follows the printing layers orientation.
MICs modules are mounted without any screw or glew. Instead I put a piece of sponge so it keeps MICs in the right position and hopefully isolate a little bit the sounds which could be collected by MICs from their backends (not confirmed yet :)). I plan to use all three MICs to make a triangulation of the sound direction so Wall-E can orient itself to the sound source.
The neck adapter is screw to the head by a small wood screws.
