Thanks to Chris for publishing the original S1 design, which served as the foundation for my remix.
To create a holder specifically tailored to the S1 Pro, I've adapted the design to account for the overhead LED light bar by designing the tool holder to slide neatly over it, with relief cuts for both the wiring and switch.
The tool-holding provisions have also undergone significant updates:
- The USB slots have been replaced with a single slot designed to accommodate a brass nozzle cleaning brush found at Harbor Freight (https://www.harborfreight.com/brass-detail-brush-69524.html).
- I enlarged the deburring tool slot to fit my specific deburring tool (https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256805076528810.html).
- The scraper hole has been expanded to accommodate a 3D printed plastic scraper available on Printables because you really shouldn't be using the included steel scraper on your PEI bed. I don't even know why Creality includes it. Designed to work with either https://www.printables.com/model/122894-hexscraper-printbed-scraper or https://www.printables.com/model/832209 (this slot should fit any tool that won't fall through a hole measuring 45mm x 11.5mm).
- The glue stick slot has been reduced in size to accommodate standard Elmer's glue sticks found at most big-box stores.
- I added a convenient storage slot for an adjustable wrench, which comes in handy for doing nozzle swaps.
- The slot for nozzle cleaning needle has been enlarged to accommodate the tool better.
- The left side geometry has been elongated to accommodate a t-slot bolt (M5 x 8) and nut. This ensures secure attachment to the printer frame and prevents cantilevering the entire tool holder once it's loaded with off-axis weight.
- Finally, I separated the nozzle holder and main tool holder bodies to enable support-free printing. You can print each body separately and assemble them together using small pieces of 1.75mm filament as dowels for alignment and super glue for bonding the separate bodies together.
Update 08/05/2024: I have removed the spacer that was previously needed and updated the model to reduce the depth of the screw to avoid bottoming out in the t-slot.
