I don’t know about you, but I find navigating the end of piece of filament into a little black hole in a black component frustratingly difficult.

So I’ve designed this little cap for the top of the Nextruder. It’s printed in two colours, giving a white ring around the entrance to the hole.

So start with black filament. At the first filament change swap the black for white and at the second, remove the white and put the black back.

The whole thing takes less than 20 minutes to print. You’ll see which way round it fits.
