I wanted a hayes bumper for my N scale layout that could be removed easily in case of expansion. The bumper slides into the end of the track between the plastic molded ties and top of the track since the rails are shaped like I beams. Since the object is 9.5mm wide it fits snuggly between the rails and will stop cars and locos going at fairly high speeds. Object has been printed, painted and tested on Atlas Code 55 and Code 80 track.

For N scale, scale the size of the object to L15mm x W 9.5mm x H 7mm.

You could probably scale it up for HO scale but I don't have and track to test the size.
