Prototype Model:

This is a prototype model is for a series of scalable 3D printed surgical Vascular clamps or vessel clips. Could be used in field surgery as part of emergency surgery equipment kit.

Different "Jaws" can be shaped for different needs.

Intended as a pilot project, for research use only, as a 3D printed medical device for potential use in field clinics in countries with restricted economies and open borders. One small printer could supply all clinics in a small country with a given type of emergency vascular clip, within a month and have an ongoing supply as needed. Each clip costs less than 2 cents to make and could be sterilized for reuse.
