A second attempt to make an interesting set of related puzzles - see thing:4367074 - Six Related Puzzles. The target is a rectangular box made from 20 small squares. It is to be filled by a domino, a right tromino, a skew tetromino, a pentomino, and a hexomino. One can chose any pentomino from a set of 4 and any hexomino from a set of 5. All of the combinations tile the 5x4 rectangular box.

The pieces are presented as 3 separate stl files. One holds the domino, the right tromino and the skew tetromino, a second the 4 pentominos, and a third the five hexominos. The puzzles are more attractive if the pieces can be printed in different colors. A box is also given.

Other problems can be made using the same target and the pieces presented here. The four pentominos, U,Y,L, and P tile the 5x4 box. One can tile the box with certain sets of 2 hexominos, one pentomino, and the right tromino. One can also tile the box with certain sets of 2 pentominos, 1 hexomino and the skew tetromino. Possibly useful as an introduction to tiling.
