READ ME: Experience has shown me that the bed handle sags because of a combination of bed heat and the weight of the C270 unit. I have since posted a complete camera arm assembly that counters these issues, thing:3122486, and I advise using that design instead!

I am leaving this item here for those who wish to try it anyway, and for those who wish to experiment with, or remix, the design.

Put all of that little lot together with my little stand, and voila! A C270, perfectly positioned for printbed monitoring, and creation of those lovely hypnotic timelapses.

The camera mounts with a moderately long M4 bolt, and the support is designed to hold a T-nut on the underside, to save having to mess about with a spanner as well as an allen key whilst you juggle the camera.

The other hole is for a second M4 nut and bolt for mounting onto Moclub's attachment. The offset between the two holes corrects the camera's off-centre lens assembly, so that it sits near the middle of the bed.

My original intention was to have a spring in place of the solid tube for the camera bolt. The idea being that it would be easy to move, and friction from the spring would make it stay where you put it. But In practice, it didn't work well. So I changed it to a nice solid tube, and the camera still pivots just fine without all the spring nonsense!
