I was looking for some effective windshield for my small Primo EM172 based DIY-microphones. So I bought the Rycote Mini Windjammer for ø50 and built a skeleton basket to keep it in a nice distance around the microphone.

Works quite well and my hope is, that due to the irregular shape there is no specific frequency damped or amplified as it might happen in a regular pattern due to standing waves. But that might be also some "overkill". Nevertheless it looks nice.
