The built-in laser pointer is 1.2cm in diameter, 6.6cm long without the top cover, and 7cm with it. It fits either way. The outer sleeve has recesses; the button must be within a recess. Install the laser pointer first, then tighten the nut, adjust the position, and secure the nut and laser pointer with adhesive.
