You know those "samples" and bit of filament you have that are a pain to print with because they are not on a spool, but too long to make it practical to wind onto a spool? I made this spool with one flange that detaches so you can drop the hank of filament onto the spool and put the flange on, and the filament wont keep flopping off the spool holder on the printer. Then you can buy those short lengths of different colours intended for 3D pens to try them out or create spot highlights for your models.
Printing
The "latches" will need a little support. It can be a pain to remove, but a touch with a file should sort that out.
