This is a robot sign-checking tool for the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) used during the Decode season. Inspired by the contribution made by jgroppe last year (https://www.printables.com/model/1060891-ftc-robot-sign-sizing-tool), I created a version suitable for this year. I printed it with high contrast, as shown in the photo, making it easy to read and locate 😎
Given the allowable range this year, the left side of the gauge handles the minimum value of the logo
If anyone finds any problems, please feel free to provide feedback. The model provides STEP files and STL files. I've also added a metric text version
I printed the sample using a 0.4-millimeter nozzle, a 0.2-millimeter layer height, three-layer walls, and a 1.0-millimeter top and bottom full thickness. It's stronger than the default, but it helps make it harder and less likely to bend or get damaged during rough handling. If you only print in one color, just use a marker to color the embossed text
