This is my first posted design so please bear with me.

Had a customer drop off a Sony 200 disc CD unit for repair and the spindle on the spindle motor was in pieces so I had to make one. The metal centre/spring unit was intact and I pressed it onto the new spindle with a small bench vise.

The hole for the motor shaft I left tight and drilled it out with a 2mm drill.
