Summary
So, I was struggling to finish my kitchen counter until an idea struck: I want color. And what form should it take? Why, the shape of a bestagon!
But mounting them just so seemed boring, so I wanted them to float. So I put the Hexagons on a background pattern of Hexagons that included standoffs!
And, well, it looks kinda awesome. Maybe that's due to the three color filament I used. Personally I blame it on the Hexagons and my awesome design skills!
Print Settings
Printer:
QIDI X-Plus 3
Rafts:
No
Supports:
No
Infill:
15% Cubic, less will probably work.
Notes:
Currently running trials to get the fitment perfect. Since PLA will warp over time if stressed it sort of needs to be perfect.
Post-Printing
This will probably highly benefit from ironing, which I will be trialing soon(tm).
It's also possible to cover the inner part with foil.
