I... just kind of ended up making an, IMHO, OK ITX case in general, with a few design elements intended to be reminiscent of the "snow white" design language Apple introduced with the Apple IIc and Macintosh SE. So I figured I'd post it for other people to try out.

Plastic isn't the best thermally, so I wouldn't put anything high end in it, and it doesn't support any expansion slots. But it'll hold a hard drives or two (or, in my case, BlueSCSI adapters) and accommodates any other device(s) that need an externally accessible 3.5" drive bay cover (SD card front panel stuff, USB hubs, etc.) I'm planning on using the very nice BlueSCSI drive bay adapter by ellsworthbeast: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6624237 - it allows you to swap SD cards externally, which is nice.

The main case is designed to be 3D printable in one piece (with supports) on any >220mm^3 3D printer. (250^3 seems pretty common these days even for intro printers.) Then you just print the lid and provide an I/O shield.

The included I/O shield is designed to mount externally, not snapping in from the inside, and is specifically for the ITXPlus motherboard. The cutout is the standard ATX size and position. At least as near as I can get it with my digital calipers and squinting.

I'm pretty sure the design is complete as-is: I'll post some photos once I'm done printing and assembling it.
