I designed this small drawer for storing all the printer-related tools I had all over the place. It mounts under the shelf where the printer sits.
I am using six Ø 4mm / L 30mm wood screws to attach it to the shelf. The holes are countersunk to accommodate the screws.
The drawer has been designed to make use of the whole bed to maximize storage capacity, and it can hold quite a lot of stuff really. It prints with a small support for the underside lip. The drawer can be removed if pulled all the way out, for easier carrying around of all of your tools.
The rails print unsupported. There is a stop block incorporated in the rails backside, to stop the drawer from going further back, and to make it sit perfectly flush with the rails when closed.
Installation is very easy. I recommend using painter's tape to keep all three parts together while screwing, but I installed it without any.
Designed with OnShape (free).
Printed on a Prusa MK4S with eSUN Wood PLA using a 0.6 HF nozzle at 0.4mm layer height (4 perimeters).
