Summary
I made this for the stepper motor on the official Creality direct drive upgrade kit for my Ender 3 Max. I realized it fit perfectly on the QR code as well but had to remove the right side of it for the X axis switch.
Included is the versions with my logo designs, blank covers, and the .blend file to make it a little easier to customize. For the logo I just traced it by hand with the knife tool, extruded it 2mm and then beveled the edges. There's probably a better way to do this but I am pretty new to blender. If there's any demand for it I will make a tutorial.
The motor cover fits nice and snug and was designed without any tolerance. The QR version does fit pretty loose without the side clamp so you may consider trying it at 99% scale, I just put a small bit of wall puddy behind it and it seems to hold pretty well.
Print Settings
Printer Brand:
Creality
Printer:
Ender-3 Max
Rafts:
No
Supports:
No
Resolution:
.2
Infill:
20
Notes:
For the blank cover it worked well with .3 first layer height and the above settings, with the logo I had a bit of trouble getting the first layer to stick correctly but changing the first layer to .2 with a .12 layer height worked without need for a raft or any support material.
Post-Printing
I just used a 0.7mm black Posca paint pen to color in the logos.
