The Mechen M30 is a cool little mp3 player but it can get scratched up in a pocket. This print won't protect the screen from keys but it will lift it clear of any surface it's put on and will protect the body from casual scratches and scuffs as well as reducing the chance of buttons getting pressed accidentally.
The pictured case was printed on a Bambu P1S using the textured build plate. The design works best with both halves printed face down. I used generic BASF black PLA with the standard settings.
The two halves are secured together with 12mm M2 caphead screws - 293-296 on RS Components. You can also get them on Amazon a LOT cheaper. I tapped the holes for the screws myself using an M2 tap but you can get M2 hex head 10mm self-tapping screws on Amazon which are a better alternative if you don't have taps.
