I wanted a media player for my jellyfin server that was PoE and didn't spy on me.  This is what I came up with.  I have mine running Libreelec and it works great.  I used an 8GB Pi 5, which is almost certainly overkill.

Assembly is very straight forward.  Put the PoE Hat on last if you want to get screws in all the standoffs. 

Only tricky bit is the fan header.  Raspberry Pi's header is the 1.0mm 4 pin JST.  The wire colors do NOT match the typical PC fan header that the Noctua fan comes with.  I ended up cutting and soldering the JST header onto the Noctua wires.  

If you get the same JST pigtails I bought, the colors are as follows:

Fan Color : JST color

Black : Blue

Yellow : Black

Green : Yellow

Blue : Red
